When my sister died in 2005, I used painting and art-making as a form of self-healing and self-expression. This process empowered me to express a great deal of emotions that surfaced that I could not put words to. I began to better understand the grieving process, and I realized that finding a way to express myself creatively helped me to process the emotions that surfaced.

Lorrie The Creative Explorer is my tool for providing creative ways to support others through their grief, for those that are inspired to live more artistically, and for those that would like support while they navigate through transformative times.

FEATURED WORKS / My own art work is done in the styles of Abstract Expressionism and Mixed Media. My work is spontaneous and done in the moment, often pulling from an emotion or a mood and allowing the artwork to speak for itself.
